Happy Easter!

I pray that you have a good Easter. I know that many families will have a hard one this year because of Friday's storms.

Collin had his Spring pics done at school the other week, and I thought I would share!

Mommies "special soap"

This evening when I was giving Collin his bath, I stepped around the corner to put a load of laundry to wash. When I got back in the bathroom, Collin said proudly, "I filled it up, Mommie". He had dumped out my very nice Arbonne Citrus Ginger Sugar Body scrub into the bath water and filled the empty botle up with water and screwed the lid on. He was so proud that he got it open, filled it up, and screwed the top back on. I didn't know what to say! On one hand I wanted to fuss because that stuff is expensive, but Collin was so proud, I couldn't burst his bubble. Needless to say, he smelled very nice after his bath, and he should! He is the only kid I know to have had a bath with $40 bath soap!

My Big Boy

Collin had a big night last night! We had a run-in with the "Paci Mouse" (you will have to read the previous post) and he pee-peed in the potty!!! He was starting to poop in his diaper and we ran to the potty and he pee-peed!!! He was so proud. Then he ran around the house naked and pee-peed on the kitchen floor and then pee-peed in the potty again. So, it is definitely a work in progress.

GOOD JOB COLLIN!!!! We are so proud of you!

The "Paci Mouse"

We have had a visit from a "mouse" that likes to eat pacis. Collin seemed to be open with the idea, until bedtime last night. It took him 1 hour after I put him to bed to settle down, and he didn't settle down until I gave him a non-nibbled paci. Maybe we will try in another week or so. I am hoping that we can work on in while we are on Spring break in a few weeks. I will update you on our progress (or lack of)!

I love...

Collin and I were on our way home tonight and in the back seat I hear him saying, "I love bear", "I love God", "I love Santa". It was cool hearing my 2 year old say, "I love God". It's good to know Collin's priorities (bear, God & Santa) are in line! ;)

Happy New Year!

I thought I would share our Christmas photos. Better late than never, I guess. Collin had the stomach bug on Christmas, but we were still able to celebrate. We thought that it might be something he ate, but after a day or so, Todd & I, my family, and my sister's boyfriend got sick as well.

Todd and I are so excited to be starting this year with a new job. It had been such a hard year with his job loss, my grandmother dying, and other stresses along the way. Thank you for all your prayers through this past year. It has been great having such good friends and support along the way. I pray that your families are blessed this year.

Praise God!

We have beend praying and some of you have been praying for 8 months for Todd & our family. Todd got the call on Thursday the 18th that we have been waiting for. He was offered a job position and he accepted! He will starting his new job on Monday, December 29th! Praise God for this wonderful blessing!

30!!!!!!!!

It is official, I am 30! It hasn't been too bad so far. I had a minicure & pedicure, out to Hickory Falls for appetizers with Todd, and saw 2 movies (1 in the Roxy and 1 when we got home from the RedBox). I think 30 might be fun!

Happy Fall!

The family headed outside Sunday afternoon for some good old fashioned leaf jumpin'. Collin had so much fun playing in the leaves. Mommy & daddy even had to jump in a few times!

I could not wait to share Collin's Trick-or-Treating photos. I was so proud of him! He carried his own bag & kept the entire outfit on until bath time! He was such a big boy tonight. We hope you had fun, too!

I am trying to change my background on my blog to one I found on The Cutest Blog. If you have a background from them, can you tell me how to upload it?? When I try to load it on my blog, I loose my posts. I know I am not doing it right, but I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Collin's Gift

We all were at Todd's parents house last weekend sitting around the bonfire. Collin was playing in the playhouse near where we were sitting. He came out and handed me what he called a "bee". I knew it wasn't a bee, but he has been trying to catch a moth all night, so I thought he had a moth. He handed it too me and I was shocked to find it was a spider!!! I quickly flung it off my hand! I will be careful next time I accept a gift from Collin next time.

Walden Farm

Todd and I took Collin to the farm today. We all loved it and had so much fun. Collin was so cute pulling his wagon and his pumpkin. We will definately be making this a yearly tradition!
